I don't know if anyone reads this anymore, but just in case I thought I better post this: Cookies to rule the day at festival in Westerville Thursday, May 06, 2004 The first Westerville Cookie Festival will be held from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Cheryl & Co. corporate headquarters, 646 McCorkle Blvd., Westerville. The event will feature an appearance by Ohio State football coach Jim Tressel, entertainment, family games and a live remote broadcast by radio station WSNY (94.7 FM). The festival is an outgrowth of the cookie company’s annual bake sale, in its 11 th year. The sale is expected to draw about 25,000 people this year. Visitors can trade a canned good for a Cheryl’s Cookie or buy cookies at marked-down prices. In addition, cookie jars commemorating the Buckeyes’ 2002 national championship will be sold. Proceeds for the event will benefit the Tressel Family Fund at the Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital, the Westerville Area Resource Ministry and the Westerville Visitors and Convention Bureau. For more information, call the convention bureau at 614-794-0401. posted by Stephanie Ford 10:59 AM . . .
